HeMateMe: Irina Krush has pulled even with wunderkind Lee. What a class act Irina is, winning all of these USA championships over the years, always behaving like an adult and playing great chess.

Here, with fellow emigre superstar Gata Kamsky

Krush was born in Ukraine, came here as a small child. A natural talent, the NY Times did a story on her with Irina sitting at the chess tables in a park in Brooklyn where, as an unknown little girl she would destroy expert level chess players from the USSR who had come to the USA.

Mar-27-23  fabelhaft: Krush won, even if the games have not been added here for some days.

fredthebear: The weekends in Florida are for golfing, boating, and sunbathing. Or watching Cinderella dance at the March Madness basket-ball tournaments. Certainly, a pleasant change-of-pace from chess.
