The 12th European Women's Team Championship was held in Creta Maris, Hersonissos, Crete, Greece from October 28 to November 6, 2017 as a 9-round Swiss System tournament. Rest day: November 2. Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, 30 more minutes for the rest of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. Tournament director: Nikolaos Kalesis. Chief arbiter: Panagiotis Nikolopoulos.

Top seed Russia won with 17/18 match points (+8 =1 -0), after only Poland managed to draw them in Round 6. Georgia (14/18) was 2nd, and Ukraine (13/18) took 3rd place.
