yy_Early Passer Meeting - The Morbid Collection
Compiled by whiteshark

Inspired by Ziggurat chessforum <List of premature chess deaths> here are some rare games where those chessplayers had met each other. This project/list is now continued by User: MissScarlett here: --> Game Collection: Gone too soon... - a great compilation!

The List is only a simple list, sorted by age. I decided to use only a reduced List with players upto 35 years. I regrouped the data sorted by years and Age of players.

Age / location / tournament.
So between 1850 and 2008 there are only some thirty players with a chess career at the longest of 17 years (if they started with 18 years) and only by (pure?) fortunate coincidence they could have met.

Karlsbad 1911 is such a tournament with E.Cohn, Rotlewi and Dr. Perlis as participants. Photo: http://www.clubedexadrez.com.br/por... All games: Karlsbad (1911)
