Great Games of the 19th Century!!!!!!!
Compiled by LIFE Master AJ
--*--

The title says it all, here I will try to collect all the great games of the 19th Century. (BTW, this collection is for games that are NOT already in other collections! I also want to emphasize games that perhaps help change the course of chess history.) I also want to stick to (perhaps) one game per player ... and maybe pages that I already have a web page on.

Collection began: Sunday; October 16th, 2011.

***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****

# 1.) My analyis of Pillsbury vs Tarrasch, 1895, (Hastings, 1895); can be found at: http://www.lifemasteraj.com/old_af-.... (I believe that this game is simply one of Pillsbury's finest games.)

# 2.) My analysis of: Morphy vs Duke Karl / Count Isouard, 1858 is quite extensive. (Many web pages ... and now a YT video.) Please begin at: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera... thank-you.

# 3.) My analysis of the famous game, Anderssen vs Dufresne, 1852 (The EVERGREEN Game); can be found at: http://www.lifemasteraj.com/old_af-....

# 4.) My analysis of: Zukertort vs Blackburne, 1883, ("Zukertort's Immortal"); can be found at http://www.lifemasteraj.com/old_af-.... (This game was added: Nov. 2nd, 2011.)

# 5.) My analysis of the beautiful game: Steinitz vs von Bardeleben, 1895 (Which is known as "The Pearl of Hastings," and was also the winner of the FIRST brilliancy prize!!!); can be found at: http://www.lifemasteraj.com/old_af-.... (Redone ... many times.)
