Nov-30-16  chessamateur: Like black slightly better here.
Nov-30-16  Lighthorse: Wow...94 moves without a capture!

I forgot that the other was the game of the day here on 12/28/2015. R Nuber vs R Keckeisen, 1994

OhioChessFan: Now it looks drawish but MC has 9 more minutes.
Nov-30-16  ForkedAgain: Sorry to disappoint the Olde Guard, but I would not mind if all of chess went to these rapid time controls.

Burn me at the stake!

Nov-30-16  BOSTER: White bishop has more mobility.
Nov-30-16  chessic eric: the question becomes are black's hanging pawns good or bad. time will tell (in more ways than one).
Nov-30-16  diceman: <AdolfoAugusto: Time is running out even if the position is balanced... is there a time increment?>

10 seconds.

Domdaniel: It's equal, but the clock favours Carlsen. A 10s increment is very different to a 30s one.

HeMateMe: can one side offer a draw, in this format?

OhioChessFan: Kf7 and then make Sergey play faster.
Nov-30-16  caifan461: d5 is coming, what else?
Nov-30-16  Rama: K+P ending?
Nov-30-16  LucB: All tie-breaks are today IIRC.

offramp: I suppose they'll carry on for ever...
Nov-30-16  Lighthorse: During the main 12 game match, it was said at chess24 that they could not agree to a draw until 30 moves. Does that apply to these blitz games too?

An Englishman: Good Morning: <ForkedAgain>, we have a crueler fate for you than burning at the stake--we will burn your steak! Insert evil cackling laugh here.
Nov-30-16  chessic eric: ...Nd7-e5 (-g6-f4 !?) provocative?
Nov-30-16  Absentee: <ForkedAgain: Burn me at the stake!>

Okay.

HeMateMe: black's pawns look ugly, but Carlsen will play around with the Ouija board until his position looks better...

Open Defence: Karjakin sticking to his preparation for the main match it seems
Nov-30-16  Lighthorse: <offramp: I suppose they'll carry on for ever...> They can't. After 14 games they go to a sudden death where Black has less time, and if it ends in a draw then Black is declared the winner.
Nov-30-16  sachman19: IIRC?

OhioChessFan: Karjakin will only play 2 moves in the next 20. f4 and a Bishop move on the long diagonal.
Nov-30-16  chessic eric: 33.f4 sort of ruins that whole ...Ne5 thing.
Nov-30-16  chessic eric: ...Bb6 and ...Qg1 mate what's the big deal? :-)
