  GrahamClayton: Excellent piece play by Yates to set up the advance of the c-pawn. Euwe resigned due to 33. ♕xc1 ♕b5+ winning the rook on d7.

  Retireborn: When Euwe played 26.Bd6 he had probably overlooked the star move 27...Rb1!!

The turning point was 22.Ra7 - with 22.Qxc7 White would have been very safe if not perhaps actually winning.
