Honza Cervenka: Interesting endgame where Marshall demonstrated his extra class. It seems to be that presence of minor pieces, Bishop against Knight, made it more difficult for black to defend this notoriously "drawish" R+4P vs R+3P with all Pawns on the same side. It is hard to say where Vera went wrong, 38...Bb6 was a slip allowing beautiful breach after 39.f6+ Kh6 40.e6! but 38...Kh6 39.Rd7 Ra7 (what else?) 40.Rxa7 Bxa7 41.Kf3 Kg5 42.h4+!! Kxh4 43.Ne4! Bb6 44.Nd6 Kg5 45.Ke4 or 41...Kg7 42.Ke4 Kf8 43.Kd5 or 41...Bg1 42.h4 Kg7 43.Nh5+ with next 44.Nf6 is hardly sufficient for black to save the day. Of course, black's troubles started with the loss of isolated Pawn.

Btw, the opening is rather QGD, Tarrasch D34 than Benoni.
