Dec-19-05  Bobak Zahmat: Unbelievable that someone could beat Kasparov like this. Bravo Sedeif-Sade.

Phony Benoni: For my fellow members of the Old Fogey Brigade,"Smooth Operator" is a song by the artist Sade.

To tell you the truth, the winner's style reminds me more of the old Marquis. But I guess he's not a Marquis name these days.

May-11-21  Cheapo by the Dozen: Unfortunately, we don't have any games for today's winner vs. somebody with a name like Queensberry to support a "Marquis Matchup" pun.

HeMateMe: Somehow I never thought of Kasparov when that song was on the air.

Well done by team black, who ever they were.

perfidious: <Smooth Operator> was played to death back in 1985; have always much preferred Sade's <The Sweetest Taboo>.

with the White king having taken the a1-b2-c1-d2-e3-d4-c3 dark squares avenue from move 21.

May-11-21  goodevans: I saw Sade live back in '84. Worst live act I've seen. Might as well have stuck a waxwork of her on stage and played her album over the sound system. At least if they'd done that we wouldn't have had all the bum notes.

MissScarlett: ITV Sport once did a mash-up of <Smooth Operator> with the snooker player, Steve Davis. I won't say it ruined the song for me, but the trauma lingers.
May-11-21  TheBish: One of the better puns lately.
May-11-21  Ironmanth: Interesting game! Thanks, chessgames. Y'all stay safe out there today.

GrahamClayton: Kasparov's 'attack' dissipates after 20...Qc2+ & 21...Bd6, and he is powerless to stop Sideifzade's rooks moving to the a & b files.
