Apr-24-04  filipecea: Why this draw within 11 moves??
Jul-02-04  uzeromay: Is there a typo here? Why not 9...hxg5?

chessgames.com: Clearly a typo. Maybe Black played 5...O-O instead of 5...h6.
Feb-10-06  jamesmaskell: Topalov was 13 years old in this game which probably explains the quick ending...
Apr-17-06  chess champion 8: I don't understand why this was a draw after 11 moves either. It may be possible that this was a typo because I saw nothing wrong with hxg5. It may be possible that black played 0-0. Topalov only being 13 years old in this position probaly explains why the draw came so early.

Why? I'd say the younger you are, the more combative you are. But perhaps it was the other way round for Topalov. Or maybe it was just a last round game that meant nothing for the final standings.

Jan-14-15  WetPussyCat: Why is Bg5 not taken with h6 pawn ?
