Jul-04-07  thom: lost on time?
Jul-04-07  builttospill: Looks like white creates a winning passed pawn after exd5, or if ignored, then Ne7 blocks off the queen's protection of g7 so black needs to take on e7 or gets mated.

al wazir: No pawn moves or captures from move 45 to move 91, and then none until move 141! You have to have a lot of patience or else semiconductor brain cells to play like that.
Jul-05-07  get Reti: Wouldn't this be a draw by the forty move rule? Rybka drew in the tournament against zappa for the same reason.
Aug-31-07  Fast Gun: More endgame practice for Zappa !!
Dec-03-08  WhiteRook48: How can GridChess resign?
Jan-17-09  WhiteRook48: why didn't Black play 160...exd5?
I'm missing something...
Feb-07-09  WhiteRook48: hilarious endgame
Jun-08-09  randomsac: <WhiteRook48> read <builttospill>'s post. After ...exd5 161 e6 wins the pawn race. Black can't do anything to stop the pawn that wouldn't concede mate.
Feb-25-11  Tigranny: Couldn't Zappa play 160.Nxe6? If GridChess played 160...Nxe6, it would result as 161.Qh8 mate.

You're exactly right. <160.Nxe6> would lead to mate.
