Mar-14-13  Garech: Interesting game! Isn't the bad guy in "The Man With The Golden Gun" called Salamanca? It seems that he was quite the chess player.

chancho: <Scaramanga, played by Chris Lee.>

The previous Bond movie was, Live and Let Die.

The villain in that movie: Kananga.

Kananga, Scaramanga.

Coincidence?

Ron: Stockfish 7 makes the same moves as both players: 24. Ne4 Kg7 25. Nd6 Rb8 26. Kg2; however, it prefers 26. ... BxN for Black with an eval of 0.00.

After Stockfish's choice 26. ... BxN, play could then go: 27. Rxd6 Rb6 28. Kf3 Ra6 29. Rd3 Ra4 30. Rb3 a5 31. e4 Kf8 32. h4 f5 33. exf5 exf5 34. Rc3 Ke7 35. bxa5 Rxa5 36. Rxc6 Rxa3+ with an even position.
