Are chess rules implemented?

Nov-28-16  peristilo: The joke of the year!
Nov-28-16  sachman19: Bishp b8 is good for white
Nov-28-16  sorin4: Referee decided: this game will be restarted again in one hour.
Nov-28-16  chessamateur: One of the shorter WC games (time wise) I'd imagine.
Nov-28-16  Ulhumbrus: Thus far Karjakin has obtained an even score in the classical games of the match.
Nov-28-16  cow: One day they are going to wake up and wonder where all the sponsors went.

Richard Taylor: Black has a decisive weakness due to his backward b7 pawn...suddenly he is lost. An incredible game by Carlsen. Amazing. America and Norway will be beeootifoool again...
Nov-28-16  mbvklc: Is this the worst game in the history of WC chess?
Nov-28-16  PhilFeeley: And it's over. Wow.
Nov-28-16  Thirups: Look at carlsen time...it s crazy...!
Nov-28-16  beenthere240: ...Bd6 is enterprising. Then it will be a dramatic K vs K game with no leverage or chance for play. I wonder if Carlsen is angry at someone that he is playing like this. It's almost petulant. "You want boring chess? I'll show you boring chess."

OhioChessFan: Are revealing prep rules implemented?
Nov-28-16  chessamateur: Kinda makes me wish Karjakin was still up 1 point going in to this game. He'd have to go for the throat and Karjakin would have to play good defense for a long time this game.
Nov-28-16  Christoforus Polacco: It's going well :) In 20 minutes I have series ''The Mentalist'' . Probably will be draw before :)
Nov-28-16  lexfourmi: Team MC is thinking about marketing and branding strategy: they figure it's better with rapid and blitz than classical. of course, there is reason for MC to feel superior to SK in next phase, but he would also like to be the first to win this match in rapid and possibly blitz. after all, it will be an historical moment and one might argue that it increases the value of MC's brand.
Nov-28-16  peristilo: sorin4, I'm afraid they're gonna repeat all the moves if that happens.
Nov-28-16  cow: <is this the worst game in the history of world championship chess?>:

Kramnik vs Topalov, 2006

Nov-28-16  sachman19: I think its a draw
Nov-28-16  YouRang: Black has almost all his pawns on light squares, out of range of white's DSB. Black's bishop has no entry squares. Hard to see any way to make progress, especially if neither player is pressing to win.
Nov-28-16  virginmind: Oh boy. How do they call this, real politics?
Nov-28-16  whiteshark: Draw, thankfully!
Nov-28-16  varishnakov: This choice by Magnus kind of makes me want him to lose in the rapids.

Either lose or win by a huge margin. If he decimates Karjakin then this play would be possibly the best strategy.

Richard Taylor: Surely there has never been such an exciting game, who could say this was the worst game? Ridiculous. I am absolutely riveted to my seat. Amazing. Beautiful. So beautiful. So creative. Such a creative game. So good for the mind. Wonderful. Ecstatic. Lovely.
