Arghyadip Das finished 8th in the Cannes Festival of Games with 6/9. He scored the much-needed victory over top seeded Kazakh Murtas Kazhgaleyev and also collected his first GM norm.

Last week, Arghyadip Das finished 6th with 6.5/9 points in the 5th Open International Ouest Toulousain.
