Dec-08-19  Nosnibor: From the late 1930`s through to the late 1950`s Julius Silverman played on a high board for the Warwickshire County team always usually amongst the top three boards.He occasionally turned out for the Birmingham Chess Club.

Oct-13-20  Alan McGowan: On 7 July 1954 in London, Smyslov and Bronstein gave a simultaneous display against 20 Members of Parliament in which they played alternately. They scored +17, =2 and a solitary loss to Julius Silverman. (BCM 1954, pp252-3.)
