sachistu: Am curious about the source of the birth date (year) for this player? It would seem sources like Chessbase and Chess Results have incorrectly attributed games from the 1940's to this person. For example, in the Norway-Denmark match, 1947, he is listed. However, Skakbladet 1947 (Issue 3) p.43, just gives John Nielsen. The Dansk Skak Union cross table also lists just John Nielsen.

There seems to be a long break in Chessbase with games again attributed him in 1981. This is especially puzzling as the Dansk Skak Union cross table for Haderslev, which is listed as a junior event, has John Madsen listed (instead of Nielsen). The same is true fr the junior event at Soro 1982, which is listed on this site. Again, DSU lists John Madsen. The list goes on... At a minimun, if we presume the DSU information is correct, the first 2 games (1982 and 1988) belong to John Madsen.

Tabanus: The 2013 and 2017 games are indeed by John B Nielsen b. 1963. The 1982 and 1988 games are by a John Madsen. I don't know anything about him. There is a John G. Madsen b. 1952 (https://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml...), while John Madsen is rather Craig Madsen (confirmation needed)..

sachistu: Thanks <Tabanus>. I saw the John G. Madsen FIDE citation, but that would seemingly not fit with the Haderslev event(date-wise). I am contacting the DSU in the and awaiting their reply.
