In her attempt at securing herself the WIM norm(1) at the World Junior Championship (Girls) (2016), Alinasab at that time met 2 Women's FIDE Masters, an IM, 2 Women's IM players and a women's GM (from 9 distinct countries), but later won the WIM title at the 2017 Asian Zonal 3.1 (women's) Chess Championship(5). In 2016, she won the Asian (women's U-16) youth chess championship(3) with a score of 8/9 and tied for share of 2nd-3rd with Polina Shuvalova (she was awarded silver after tiebreaks) at the World Youth Championship U16 (Girl's) Tournament.
