Feb-13-15  Whitehat1963: Played a lot of great players. Took a lot of beatings. Does anyone know anything else about this guy? Even his Wikipedia bio is thin.

Stonehenge: I believe his full name is George Schelto (Willems) Fontein. Some games here belong to a certain J.H.C. Fontein, probably Johannes Hendricus Carolus, born 1912 in Rotterdam.
