Rajko Bogdanovic was for many years Bosnia's best player. Awarded the IM title in 1963, his best tournament result was at Sarajevo 1970 ahead of Nikola Padevsky and Walter Browne. He also played in the Yugoslav Championship ten times. His main profession was as a journalist and radio reporter.
