GrahamClayton: Arturo Loeffler was one of the driving forces in correspondence chess in Argentina. In 1945 Loeffler founded the "Torneos de Ajedrez por Correspondia" (TAC), which became the "Liga Argentina de Ajedrez por Correspondia" in 1948. In recognition of his work with TAC, Loeffler was giving the honour of being the 1st member of LADAC. He also served as a ICCF Vice-President between 1960 and 1969.
