Rafael Cintron Ramos was unofficial Puerto Rican Champion from 1920 to 1935. The first official Championship of Puerto Rico was held in 1936 and was won by him. He was the official Puerto Rican Champion from 1936 to 1947, from 1948 to 1952, and from 1953 to 1954.

He died on the 20th of March 1979.(1)
