KERRY LAWLESS
(born Sep-15-1949, 72 years old) United States of America

[what is this?]

Kerry Hamilton Lawless was born in San Francisco, California. He learned to play when he was seven years old, but did not start to play competitively until the age of seventeen in 1966. During the next fifteen years, he organized and ran the Chabot Junior College Chess Club, the U.S.S. Enterprise Chess Club, the Captain Anchovy Chess Club, and the Klamath Court Chess Club. He also ran the San Leandro and Hayward Chess Clubs. A lot of play finally pushed his rating over 2200 in 1981. He now runs the website, ChessDryad; which specializes in the history of California chess.
