Aug-26-05  turkishgrandmaster: Is he from Fischer's family

  cu8sfan: If his name is <Fischer> I'm pretty sure he's a member of a <Fischer> family. (-;

<Fischer> is a pretty common name in Switzerland in Germany so he's probably not related to Robert James Fischer.

Aug-26-05  Caissanist: If his real name is Fischer than he's certainly not related to Bobby Fischer (not on his father's side, anyway). Perhaps if his name was Marc Nemenyi then he might be.
Aug-26-05  RookFile: There was a Fischer around the early
1900's, too. I know that Fischer played Rubinstein.
Oct-22-20  Chesgambit: Not Bobby

  Joshka: Correct. Fischer was the name of Regina's husband. Thus, Bobby took his name at birth. In reality, Paul Nemenyi was Bobby's biological father. So all you Hungarians out there!! Check your family history:-)
