  Chessical: BRADFORD G.S. BOY'S CHESS SUCCESS The British Boys' Chess Championship ended at Hastings this afternoon with a triple tie for the championship between B. Cafferty (Birmingham University). P. C. Gibbs (Bradford Grammar School) and P. D. Sanderson "Ashby la Zouch Grammar School) with 7 1/2 points each from the ten rounds. They will share the trophy.

Mar-01-18  Nosnibor: Peter Sanderson was born in 1935 and held the record for winning Leicestersbire under 18 junior title from 1949 ( shared wth J M Tayler ) but won outright 1950,1951 and 1952.
