Honza Cervenka: Prof. Stanislaw Zawadzki was a Polish player from Sosnowiec who played in the 4th Championship of Poland in Jurata 1937. I have found a table ot the tournament in the database of POLBASE. See http://polbase.w.interia.pl/jurata3...

OlimpBase: You might want to ask contemporary Stanislaw Zawadzki on his middle name to aviod ambiguity.
Aug-12-06  ragnarokk: Well, the problem is that both Stanislaw Zawadzki are the same person - me :) These games from 1937 are in each database concerning me - no matter if it is Chess Assistant, ChessBase or others. But all games from moderm times are played by me.

Best Regards, IM Stanislaw Zawadzki, Poland

Aug-12-06  Calli: I think the first two games are Stefan Zawadzki (1861-1939).

Tabanus: There seems to be a "prof. Stefan Zawadzki" born 1946 and still living. I think we need some more proof on this one.

To avoid confusion with Stanislaw Zawadzki.
