Jul-31-22  wrap99: He was roughly the same age as Fischer and it says he was the youngest master in the late 1950s. I know of another player (Larry Remlinger) also in that age range, also who showed promise but getting overshadowed by Fischer was inevitable: nice to be a master in the late 1950s but someone almost the same age is already US champ and a GM.
