  Honza Cervenka: Oldrich Malcanek (*2. 10. 1910 - +19. 4. 2001) was born in Bruchotin (now part of municipality of Krelov in the Olomouc district. He was a jurist by profession, and OTB and correspondence chessplayer. Since 1930s he was regular participant of chess tournaments in Olomouc and several times he became the champion of the city or the district and the region. For many years he managed chess section in local press.
