Aug-01-06  Pawnographer: What the heck is going on???? It's fixed!!!!!
Aug-01-06  GiorgioCappelletti: i dont like Bc5. Seems he wants to humiliate the opponent
Aug-01-06  YouRang: <Honza, Sneaky> Thanks for the info. Apparently Moro agrees, since he declined Bd6+.
Aug-01-06  mstover: he's going to win the f2 pawn
Aug-01-06  jinchausti: Aiming for f2....
Aug-01-06  Caloy: threat of Bf2 RF2 then Qc7+
Aug-01-06  rdhk: isnt tradinga bishop for a rook better than getting a pawn?
Aug-01-06  gmgomes: is there any mating net?
Aug-01-06  myozene: Bc5!! Wow.. thats a strong @#$%ing move!

tamar: Black just wins the f2 pawn, which should end it. If now Rb3 then ...Qe1 and the check on e5 will keep Rf3 away
Aug-01-06  ikipemiko: There is 50% i think for Moro to win this game.
Q+2p vs R+3p on one side is not easy to win, there is good chance for the weaker side to make fortress. Topalov vs Pono Mtel 2006 was a good example . Topalov won Q + 2p vs R+ 2p because of his active position of his figures but there was resistance from Pono.
Aug-01-06  Kreifi: But if Moro tryes to get the pawn and then trade B to R? Then it's Q+2p vs R+2p, not 3p.
Aug-01-06  Gregor Samsa Mendel: I think Moro did the right thing in keeping the bishop. With Q+B black has excellent attacking chances against the enemy king, and plenty of opportunities for forks that would net an entire rook.
Aug-01-06  zabbura2002: Now I think Bc5 is a strong move since White doesn't have a strong attack that Black should be afraid of. Moro should be planning for a more precise attack now.

Honza Cervenka: <Why is 43...Bc5 superior to 43...Bd6+?> The problem is that after 43...Bd6+ 44.g3 Bxb8 45.Rxb8 Qf1 46.Rf8 black is hardly able to surpass white's defense.

Aug-01-06  myozene: how about h5.. h4.. etc
Aug-01-06  grolich: I think I've got it: after Bd6+ g3 there are two problems for black: 1) Qf1 which would be strnogest otherwise gets nowhere...the rook defends easily...

2) if black removes queen from f1 vicinity all black has to do is shuttle his rook on the fourht rank (he even has enogh squares there to do so only on the light ones to avoid a queen fork...) how to break this?

Aug-01-06  myozene: well maybe firts some prepatory moves..
Aug-01-06  Ulhumbrus: the threat was 44...Bxf2 followed by ...Qf4+ and on 44 Rbb3 Qe1 attacks f1 again to expose the White K further eg after 45 Kg3 Qe5+ 46 f4 or 46 Kf3
Aug-01-06  jinchausti: 45 Rf3???
Aug-01-06  myozene: h5 and its over, right?
Aug-01-06  toronto: Now perhaps 45.Rc2 Bf2 46.Rf2 Qf2 47.Rf3. But I'm not sure if that fortress is good enough.
Aug-01-06  myozene: Rf3 loses a rook
Aug-01-06  YouRang: <GiorgioCappelletti: go with Bd6 and he will resign. But.. no he wants make fun of his opponent. No good no good> Don't worry - it doesn't have anything to do with making fun of anyone.
