Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-16-07  ChesterTheJester: 6. Nh6 Bxh6 7. O-O is playable for black, as white has both bishop and pawn en pris.

True...but after 6..Nh6 7.Bxh6 ..0-0 8.Bc1 white is a piece up with little compensation for black (the two pawns)...the piece majority will show as soon as he develops them

Jul-07-07  Zzyw: 6...♘h6 7.♗xh6 O-O! 8.♗c1?? (better are ♗xg7 or ♘xc3) 8...♘b4 9.♕d1 c2 and black is winning. Black didn't blunder until he resigned.

Phony Benoni: I've played this trap numerous times, and received several resignations on move on move 6. I've also seen 6...d6, which is no help: 7.Qxf7+ Kd7 8.Be6#. I think I prefer <Zzyw>'s 8.Bxg7 line--not because it evens material, but because it exposes Black's king a bit more.

The usual order of moves I've seen is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Bc4 Be7 5.c3 dxc3 6.Qd5. In this line, I think that 5...Na5!? is better than the database statistics indicate.
