GrahamClayton: Lawton made his return to OTB chess in the Staffordshire Congress at Walsall in April 2014 after a ten year absence, finishing =1st in the Premier Division.
Aug-14-23  Nosnibor: He won the Leicestershire Championship in 1978 at his first attempt. In the last round I played him and managed to obtain an honourable draw. Had he not stopped playing for a number of years I feel fairly certain he would have become a grandmaster.
