Apr-17-07  cuendillar: <It's a contitutional right to bear arms> Only the two that has a hand at the end of them.

By the way, I hope the rest of that post isn't serious - easy access to guns means maniacs and such get them. Thus the massacres. Such atrocities are pretty much unheard of in more civilized countries.

Apr-17-07  technical draw: <cuendillar> If you think the VT killings are terrible just try imagining 30,000+ deaths by handguns in the US per year. It staggers the imagination: see this albeit somewhat dated: http://www.guncite.com/cnngunde.html
Apr-17-07  RonB52734: <technical draw> I thought it was a constitutional right to arm bears. Darn this dyslexia!

keypusher: <Who really is Odd Lie, anyone know?>

It seems like we owe him a bio in exchange for all the nonsense we've posted here.

Apr-18-07  RonB52734: <Who really is Odd Lie> This is a great place to ask that -- you're bound to get a straight answer here!
Apr-18-07  whiteshark: <Who really is Odd Lie, anyone know?>

- I did not post same facts on <Odd Lie> two or threee pages back,

- I did not post any cc game to cg

- I did not have sexual relations with that woman

Apr-18-07  technical draw: I am odd lie. I am the walrus. I am a lineman for the county. I am music and I wrote the very first song. I am I said.
Apr-18-07  whiteshark: <technical draw:> Damn, now the biggest secret of the humanity is ventilated, my translator said.

Richard Taylor: <tehnical draw> You are talking hogs-bollocks - <acirce> is completely right about gun law... anyone who likes guns is a murderor - responsible for the massacres.

We know people kill people but it is hell of alot harder to kill sans guns or easy access to guns.

Richard Taylor: <td> and don't try to get out of this by joking - I was a lineman once...
Apr-19-07  whiskeyrebel: it doesn't matter how peeved any of you are about guns; a huge number of American's have them and will keep them. No one's ever proposed a realistic way to confiscate them to my knowledge. I don't own any and have never hunted, but my people fed themselves 90% from hunting and fishing right up through the 1950's. It seems like a rather established practice. American's will be hunting and fishing for generations to come. They won't easily be converted to the pleasures of tofu. That's just the way it is over here. I'm not trying to stir up a nasty argument, just pointing out that these "barbaric"practices are deeply ingrained in our culture. Have a jolly morning.
Apr-19-07  acirce: This is not going to be confusing.
Apr-19-07  kellmano: The Odd Lie page has always been a page for serious debate and i hope it remains so.

Richard Taylor: <whiskeyrebel> the "deeply ingrained excuse" is no good. I oppose a lot of crap that goes on in my own country and I don't care how traditional it is - at some point you need to oppose it. You yourself know that for example Civil Rights have improved greatly in the US since many (many good courageous Americans both white and black) people opposed the "deeply ingrained" racist attitudes and laws of the Southern States etc.

Of course we canonly make criticism we cant actually get people to change from outside the US. But it is understand for us to be concerned when there is killing - we need tighter gun controls here (I mean here in NZ) also - there have been massacres here in NZ. One was made into a film - my friend is the main actor in it "Out of the Blue"

Apr-19-07  Colonel Mortimer: <LIFE Master AJ:> <Apparently there are some changes coming.

Sometime ... in the next few months ... my section will be re-opened. Not only this, I will be able delete all the comments that I do not approve of. (I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to this!!!)>

Apparently <AJ> has chosen not to change and remains as obnoxious as ever. As for his 'section' - I'm sure that once the 'fun park' opens it will continue to rampage with all manner of unitelligent animals all in awe of Bxh7!!! sacrifices...after all the intelligent analysis has been culled that is.

Apr-19-07  Kublo: Who is Odd Lie?
Apr-19-07  Jim Bartle: Sydd Finch's personal catcher.

(That's a US pop reference.)
