Jan-29-10  technical draw: "I don't care about losing I just want to have fun"...

Translation: "I'm a loser, shoot me".

Jan-29-10  whiteshark: I invented the <blow-the-whistle-run> game on chessgames.com.

Here are the unwritten rulez:

1) Find a game with no comment
2) Blow the whistle
3) Insert problem user: (your name or any other)
4) insert problems: off topic spaming
5) insert sample post: whatever, I usually take a lumatic R.T. post 6) but don't type your email
7) send the complaint
8) Log off and <Run> !!!

Take care and don't let them catch you...

Jan-30-10  technical draw: I invented the "en passant" move in chess. I got into trouble in a game and the only way out was capturing en passant so I convinced my opponent that the rule existed. After that game everybody started playing it. En passant is Latin for "non-existent move".

HeMateMe: Can you do my tax return? I want to en passant all of my taxable income. I will be referring you to the IRS as my paid preparer/player.
Jan-30-10  PinnedPiece: We all agree that civilization needs new energy resources. I propose:

WATER!

Yes, and I have a kit, only $300 U.S., to convert your ordinary car into a vehicle that can use water as fuel.

The major auto manufacturers, in league with big oil, are trying to suppress this invention, but it is available to you NOW despite their efforts! The kit is easy to install, and the happy people already using it are many! Here's one:

HeMateMe: When Taylor Swift got her Grammy award tonight, I was headed for the stage, at full speed, to snatch the award and give it to Lady GaGa, who had a great album this year, but I was blocked by the ushers.
Feb-01-10  whiteshark: Good news: The FED is not going to order 1,000 new banknote printing press. Only 850 units. So don't worry about inflation.
Feb-01-10  gus inn: In the good old days you could castle several times during a game.

WannaBe: The Pro Bowl was so exciting last night, I completely forgot that the Grammys was on TV. I was very happy to see that Beyonce won the MVP by rushing for 3,0921 yards, and 54 touchdowns.

chancho: Beyonce won six Grammy's by having her hubbie Jay Z threaten the entire board with a cap up their ass if they did not vote for her.
Feb-01-10  technical draw: I invented Queenside castling. Before you could only castle on the King side. It took a while to be accepted because everyone thought it was a "sissy" move.

HeMateMe: I was the guy Beyonce hoisted out of the audience during the Grammys. I just hope y'all aren't jealous.
Feb-01-10  Everyone: 0-0-0 <is> as 'sissy' move! 0-0, too!
Kings should stay on their initial square for better or worse.
Feb-01-10  PinnedPiece: To <everyone> with a birthday today:

Happy birthday! Hope you enjoy the bouquet I'm sending!

Feb-01-10  TheFocus: I have recently invented my own opening that I call the Focus Rook Lift. First, you play 1.h4 and 2.a4 and then you begin setting up a Rook Lift to a3 or h3 and then moving it over to the other side. The Rook Lift Variation Right is achieved by Ra3 and then Rah3, doubling on the h-file. The Rook Lift Left is of course, Rh3 and then Rha3. Then I threaten to move onto that file and then, game over. I have had opponents faint when they realize they are suddenly facing TheFocus's patented opening. So far, I have won my club, city, county, and state championships. After I receive my invitation to the US Championship (and win) I am going for the world title. Try it out for yourself and say that TheFocus sent you!!
Feb-02-10  gus inn: <The Focus> 3.Ra3 is a mistake.You will be mated in 247.Otherwise a fine piece of analysis.
Feb-02-10  gus inn: I once played 0-0-0-0-0.K on h1 and the Queen on c1.All in the audience answered by standing ovations. Later it was named the John Holmes castling, but that I dont know why.
Feb-02-10  TheFocus: <gus inn> Looking back at my analysis, soon to be released in my book <162 Wins with the Focus Rook Lift>, a player tried that mating combination against me in Game 93, but he failed to see, as you must have, that 236.Bd3, sacrificing the Bishop and the f-pawn two moves later, forces the win for White. It is a nice swindle, a la Marshall, that I discovered after an opponent beat me with that combination in a blitz game. This is now my most successful opening. Other that one loss and two draws at blitz, I have a perfect score. I will employing it in the World Championship Match.

HeMateMe: I've never been showered with gold coins. But, I did have bean dip thrown at me, for playing nerdy speed chess in my high school cafeteria.

OhioChessFan: "I am not an ideologue....I'm not."
Feb-03-10  technical draw: I invented the "uncastle" move. At any time after castling you can uncastle and go back to the original squares. It is written ø-ø and ø-ø-ø... It is being tested in Australia. FIDE will make an announcement later this year.
Feb-03-10  Jim Bartle: Of course it's being tested in Australia. Everything goes backwards down under.
Feb-03-10  PinnedPiece: President "W" Bush League makes joke about bowling clumsiness by saying his performance was like the special olympics or something.

That's not surprising, its the kind of thing we expect from that clown. What is AMAZING is that THE MEDIA IMMEDIATELY FORGAVE HIM!!!

See for yourself:

There's a first time for everything, I guess. I would have expected him to be fried to a crisp for that remark!

.

Feb-03-10  Jim Bartle: I'm glad people are not using this page to promote their political views. I certainly have never done that.
