STEPAN ZILKA
(born Nov-11-1988, 36 years old) Czech Republic

He earned his International Master title in 2007 and his Grandmaster title in 2014.

He started his career with TJ Tatran Litovel, since 2012 he played for 1. Novoborsky SK but also played in Austria (Blackburne Nickelsdorf) and in Germany (SF Deizsiau). 2009 he won the Olomuc Chess Summer (C-Group) ahead of Konstantin Chernyshov. In 2008, 2010–2011, 2013–2014 and 2016–2017 he played with the Czech Team in the Mitropa Cup and won it in 2014.

At the GM Tournament Vienna July 2021 he got 6/8. He participated at the European Team Championship (2021) scoring 5.5/8.

Nov-11-14  waustad: Looking at his entries on chess-results.com, he plays mostly in the Czech Republic and some in Austrian leagues. This year he's playing for Blackburne Nickelsdorf in 2. Bundesliga Ost 2014/2015, where he has won both of his games on board 1 so far. Of course, not all results make it to that website, so he may play many other places, but those are the only very recent games posted on the FIDE site. German tournaments and leagues, for example, usually rely on much less convenient results software.
