moronovich: <<According to the draw for the tie-break of the World Championship match, which has just been held in the Tretyakov Gallery, Boris Gelfand has White in the first rapid game of the tie-break. There will be 10 minute breaks between each of the games.>> http://chess-news.ru/en/node/7650

Sneaky: Geez shakman, let the rest of us have a FEW bucks just to fiddle around with, will ya? The Occupy Movement is going to start to camp out on your lawn.
May-30-12  MarkFinan: Now then Mr <chessbookie>..

Before the WC started I bet on Anand to win, but It doesn't appear In my live bets.. In fact the bet hasn't appeared for over a week now..

I need the money to keep that loansharks goon's off my back lol..

And are you giving <shakman> tip offs, that guys one rich puppy ;)

moronovich: <Before the WC started I bet on Anand to win, but It doesn't appear In my live bets.. In fact the bet hasn't appeared for over a week now..>

Perhaps because the match was a tie and was decided in the rapids AFTER the stipulated 12 games..!?

May-30-12  MarkFinan: But the rapids were only decided to play 2 days ago and my bet vanished before round 9, maybe earlier but It was only then I'd noticed, and my bet was Anand to win anyway.. No mention of Rapids as far as I recall, but even If they were, I'd have bet on them too!! Have you seen my chessbucks lol.. Iv'e been betting on the first guy to use the toilet haha.... I still lost at that..

I'm not that bothered to be honest, but <brankat> had a disputed winning bet refused last week, so I'm just asking.... Do you mind <Moronovich>, or are you one of that loansharks goons chasing me up ?!

moronovich: <Iv'e been betting on the first guy to use the toilet haha.... I still lost at that..>

After all it is a WC test ;)

Jun-01-12  MarkFinan: <chessbookie> Did you look Into my earlier Inquiry, because I did put $200 on Anand to win, and the bet did vanish roughly around a week ago before the rapids were even decided upon!

Could you just have a look at my bets before the WC even began, as I really am positive I had Anand to win, with no mention of tiebreaks on the bet..

And seriously, If l'd seen before the option of betting on tie breaks should the classics be drawn, I would have bet on them too! This Is the first time Iv'e ever played at the chessbookies, and of course I realise It's all a bit of fun but I still think you owe me Lol..

Oh!!... And any chance of mid tourney betting In the womens rapids; as you closed before I'd really had a look?

Thanks :)

Chessgames Bookie: <MarkFinan> If you are talking about the main bet World Championship: WINNER then no, I don't see any wager by you on either Anand or Gelfand.

You did make a 200 c$ wager on World Championship Tiebreaks Rd 2: Anand-Gelfand for Anand, and you did get paid on that. Perhaps that's what you are thinking of?

Chessgames Bookie: <Danzhou> We'd like to offer Danzhou betting as soon as we can figure out what time to close the betting, when the rest days are, etc. The pairings are easy to get (e.g. see http://chess-results.com/tnr74094.a...) but the official site is in Chinese.
Jun-09-12  moulicules: Its already 3 days still cant loan. Why? I cant play, now its round 2.
Jun-09-12  brankat: The Bookie is trying to save You as much money as possible. You should say: "Thank You Sir!" "-)
Jun-09-12  brankat: <Chessgames Bookie> Is there any chance of "Pick-3" option (Tal Memorial) in the foreseeable future? :-) Thanks!

  moronovich: <Chessgames Bookie> "Pick-3" would be much appreciated !

Chessgames Bookie: A few quick things:

• By popular request, Tal Memorial Round 4: PICK THREE.

• I've set up the bets for rounds 4, 5, and 6 in advance. (I may add more pick three's, first moves, etc.) Please note tomorrow is a rest day!

• At the conclusion of the Tal Memorial we will close the Spring Leg and move on to summer. GOOD LUCK!

Jun-10-12  dakgootje: Woohoo, pick-3! :D

Had been waiting for it

Jun-10-12  wordfunph: <Chessgames Bookie: At the conclusion of the Tal Memorial we will close the Spring Leg and move on to summer. GOOD LUCK!>

thanks for the advance notice, chessbookie rocks!

Jun-11-12  dakgootje: Well well well - mister Shakman plummits by exactly 10k. That makes catching-up quite a bit more likely.

Still very very unlikely for me, but who knows.. a couple of pick-3's.. ;D

Jun-11-12  wordfunph: <dakgootje: Well well well - mister Shakman plummits by exactly 10k.>

i guess from Topa-Vallejo match.

Jun-12-12  LDJ: Hmm, summer leg about to begin? Finally I can have some extra money to spend on bettings rather than having to pay back the loanshark..

OhioChessFan: What am I missing on te Topa-Vallejo comment?

Bookie, per today's Pick 3, it shows a settlement date of June 10.

Chessgames Bookie: <Ohio> Sometimes I forget to set the settlement date properly. Of course it should have said June 12th (today) and I just settled it.

Speaking of Pick Threes, by popular demand:

Tal Memorial Round 5: PICK THREE

Jun-12-12  brankat: In today's wagers Kramnik has been listed as "Kamnik". Hopefully that will not cause any problems when/if cashing in the bets.
Jun-13-12  dakgootje: Thanks for bringing back the pick-3 again regularly. Without it, I'd be forced to clean the toilets or sweep the streets - instead of rolling high ;)
