Chessgames Bookie: <Karposian: So, it seems that Norway Chess may not end until April 30th.>

No it will end on April 29th <Karposian>. I am not posting any bets for rapid or blitz matches. If they hold any kind of playoff for the winner of the Norway Chess tournament at a later date we may have to wait to pay off the 'pick the winner' bet. Maybe that is what you mean. I will not be adding any new bets once the 9th round is over. We will have to wait & see what happens.

  chessgames.com: <juan31: < Chessgames Bookie> ; please check if I have two loans, maybe I'm wrong, only I have one. Thank you>

Hello Juan, I am not quite sure I understand the question. You are allowed to take out more than one loan; they just add together. So if you take 100 bucks and later 200 bucks, you'll owe 300 (plus interest).

I looked in the log files and everything seems kosher. I see you recently paid back the Loanshark which means you have good credit with him and are allowed to go borrow more money.

juan31: chessgames.com: the initial question was that suddenly appeared two loans on my account (I do not remember a notice of loan before applying what I consider a single loan).

FSR: <Carlsen - Eljanov : Carlsen [cash in ticket] 10000 YOU WIN! COLLECT 16513>

Thank you, Magnus!

Apr-29-16  Karposian: Well played, <FSR>.

Me, I'm a big Carlsen fan, but not today! I made some HUGE bets on Magnus NOT to win Norway Chess, in an effort to become Chessbookie Champion of the World. Oh well, worth a try.

Congrats to <TIMER>, who has the title in the bag now, I should think. This Championship Leg has been great fun.

And <WinKing> has been a great bookie!
