Feb-26-19  morfishine: Ha ha, now for a good laugh for all to hear: I guess I got distracted with phone calls last night and what not (and perhaps a few extra beers didn't help matters) and accidentally tripled down on Daily Double #1 when I meant to spread the extra over #2 and the pick three. My exposure went through the roof while my upside ground to a halt. I estimated I would lose at least 3,000 CB today and possibly as much as 10,000 CB's due to this sloppy error. I feel very lucky to "escape" with a mere 3K drop lol :)
Feb-27-19  morfishine: Congratulations to <moronovich> who sits squarely in the lead at the half way point! Fine Play!

Chessgames Bookie: Yeah <morf> the Spring Chess Classic makes for a good 'filler' for a few days. Even when Prague is going on I may throw in a few of the better games from the Spring Chess Classic.

Mar-05-19  morfishine: Great Set up <Chessgames Bookie>!

Great to see <Doctor Winston OBoogie> playing so well! I hope all do well in the second half of the Championship!

Mar-06-19  Dr Winston OBoogie: Thank you Morf. Right now I've got 9 CB's more than you, lol. Another nice 10 cb touch...

Ayy I got that ticket too. Might be the highlight of my leg...

Mar-06-19  Dr Winston OBoogie: Pengerz.. When there's that many CB's on d4 it's always worth a shot at Nf3 because it can always transpose into the same opening anyways. The odds were great I just wished I'd had 1k on it - I'd be runaway leader now :)

You still got time, buddy. I started with 10k so I'm not doing <that> well. Just baby bets really :)

Mar-08-19  Dr Winston OBoogie: Looking good, Morf. Lol :)

Chessgames Bookie: Tomorrow is the final 9th round of the Spring Chess Classic 'A' tournament. The 9th round starts a couple of hours earlier than the previous 8 rounds.

There is a time change occurring in the United States tomorrow at 02:00hrs (2am). Clocks will be turned ahead one hour as they go to Daylight Savings time. That will affect the starting time for the Prague Masters tournament for those living in the U.S.. I have the 5th round starting at 10:00hrs (10am EDT) instead of 09:00hrs (9am EST) for the previous four rounds. I hope I have all of this worked out correctly. This is always an adventure for the ChessBookie trying to get the starting times right.

Mar-09-19  morfishine: Thank you <Chessgames Bookie>! I am certain we all much appreciate your focused attention to detail and thanks for the heads up on the time change!
Mar-09-19  Dr Winston OBoogie: <There is a time change occurring in the United States tomorrow at 02:00hrs (2am). Clocks will be turned ahead one hour as they go to Daylight Savings time>

Maybe I'm a bit fik but I was sure we all switched the clock back/forward on the same day in every country!? Could have sworn it was the end of March. I should have gone to school, lol :)

Btw Chessgames bookie. You're doing a great job, and thank you :)

Mar-09-19  Dr Winston OBoogie: Where's my old pal, Morf??

Chessgames Bookie: I am contemplating putting up a 'Pick 4' bet, *The Beast*, sometime during the U.S. Championship tournament. No promises just pondering the idea. ;)
Mar-10-19  morfishine: <Dr Winston OBoogie> My luck's run dry, I'm putting it all on the last wager of the last round of the last tournament of the Championship Leg
