In events without multiple winners, the "projected payout" will be 100% accurate. Furthermore, it's impossible to win a bet and lose money--in the worst possible case you'll get your money back. Though i think i calculated with my previous calculation for how much you had to have stacked for the previous game that the bookie got the juice after it was clear which bet was right, instead of that it was calculating already in the odds.
