<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 12 Recap **

An unbelievable round by <Switch> who hit 4 #1's to take a big lead in both Moves and #1 Ranker. <WinKing> has a narrow lead in Bonus Ranker. <OCF> still has a huge lead in Moves+Bonus Ranker. Can <Switch> hold on for a Double Crown out of nowhere? Can <WinKing> protect his narrow lead? Can <OhioChessFan> make some magic and still pull off the Quadruple Crown that seems to be slipping away? Anticipation is high, as everyone knows this is the real Super Sunday. One round to go as the crowd rises to cheer on the contestants.

Don't forget the 6 AM start tomorrow.

OhioChessFan: I will have no Chessgames.com access tomorrow as I am working from 4AM to at least 6PM. I might update my picks but wanted to get them in now as I will be blurry eyed at 3 AM before work and busy after I get there. <chessmoron> is on the other side of the world and his schedule isn't always conducive to quick updates of the final standings.

Thanks to <chessmoron> and everyone who helped watch the scoring. Thanks to everyone who played.

  OhioChessFan: ** Final Recap **

3 Hall of Famers took all the gold medals this contest. <Switch> rode his unbelievable Round 12 performance to a Double Gold Crown in Moves and #1 Rankers. <WinKing> held on in a close contest to take the Bonus Ranker. <OhioChessFan> took the Bonus+Ranker crown.

In a surprisingly close vote, <Karposian> vs <Penguincw> barely beat out <OhioChessFan> vs. <ChessgamesBookie> for best feud in a vote among the journalists. Accepting his award, <Penguincw> said "While I don't mind sharing this award with <Corrosion>, you really have to notice that 67.82% of the words in this feud were my words, and only 32.8% were his, so obviously, I'm the superior feuder, blah blah blah. And this really is a historic award, as this is the first time someone's won Best Feud while having been in the lead in Moves Ranker. Furthermore, if you look at our last award for Best Feud, in that one, I had 70.24% of the words and he only had 29.7%, and that shows the tendency of me to be the person who is really capturing the attention of the journalists who vote for this award, blah blah blah. I would thank <OhioChessFan> and <chessmoron> for running this contest that got my face out in front of the journalists, but with my feuding talent, that would have happened anyway, blah blah blah. And did I mention that I was voted Most Helpful in the recent Caissars, blah blah blah? Anyway, it's nice to be recognized for my superior talent and skill and blah blah blah.
