<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 5 Recap **

We're now 5/7 of the way through our tournament(<OCF> worked that out in his head if anyone is impressed), and clearly, nobody is going to rise to <WinKing's> challenge, as he has done nothing but expand his lead in 3 Rankers. And as expected, <OhioChessFan> is struggling along as everyone catches up to him in Bonus Ranker. <chessmoron> got confused and mistakenly took points away from <OCF>, not <Winky>, in a noble though ill-fated effort to help the field catch up.

In other news, <Count> again put his life at risk, as he insulted <chessmoron's> taste in music. Asked to comment since he's such an expert on music, <OCF> said, "Well, Bruno Mars hain't the worst act I've ever heard.......uhh, maybe he is." <Count> and <OCF> decided to quickly leave the premises before <cm> showed up. <OCF’s> Spanish is really rusty, but he thinks he’s heard <juan>, <GE> and <word> talking a lot about having doubts of who will win the tournament.

Can some hacker expert figure out a way to take down <Winky's> computer? Is there any other possible way to slow him down? Will <OCF> get trampled by the mad crowd charging up behind him? Will they take pity on his tired, wheezing body as he staggers to the finish line? Who will be the next person foolish enough to insult <chessmoron>? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other penetrating questions. Only 2 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.

OhioChessFan: I will be scarce the rest of Saturday and much of Sunday, so while I have a minute:

Thanks to <chessmoron> for running the show, <WinKing> for doing some of everything, <word> and <Switch> for their starter guns, and all the contestants. <GE> is running a Games Prediction Contest for Biel, so hoping <cm> does a Moves Prediction Contest.

Pleae, <cm> when you post the Round 6 results, let us know whether you're doing Biel or not. If it gets late in the game and we haven't heard yet, I recommend just going ahead and posting the first round predictions as the pairings have been released.

Jul-21-18  Golden Executive: In case <chessmoron> decides to run Biel:

Round 1 - BIEL

Vachier-Lagrave - Svidler 1/2 40
Carlsen - Navara 1-0 36

OhioChessFan: ** Important Message About Biel **

Thanks for posting <GE> as it reminded me <cm> prefers the tournament name be listed right behind the round number when 2 tournaments are going on at once. So proper format is:
