<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

Apr-29-19  bubuli55: I’d like to thank again for the fun and games, < chessmoron >, < WinKing > and < OhioChessFun >. Congratulations to the winners! Catch you all next time
Apr-29-19  WinKing: Thanks for the contest <chessmoron> & <OhioChessFan>. Tough picking this time around.

Congratulations to all of the winners! Hey <juan31> good to see you at the top of the podium again. Two gold medals for your trophy case. Jugaste un buen juego mi amigo! <Count Wedgemore> you played a solid tournament throughout. A nice shiny gold & two silvers for your efforts - awesome! <bubbuli55> great final round to literally steal a Gold & Silver. Well done all!

Apr-29-19  WinKing: Almost forgot. <Count Wedgemore> & <juan31> you will both now be listed on the Gold Leaderboard. You both now have 10 or more gold medals each. Congrats!

I should have the Leaderboard in my forum updated sometime tomorrow.

  OhioChessFan: ** Final Recap **

It was a photo finish all the way around as we had close contests all over the place. <juan31> held on for a Double Gold, <Count Wedgemore> had a gold and 2 razor close silvers, and <bubuli> had a stunning perfect 10 that round to win the other gold.

In other news, all our contestants managed to avoid upsetting Svidler, <OCF> didn't yell at anyone, <Pengo> didn't laugh at any of the losers, and <chessmoron> walked away with the beauty prize (aka Black Widow).

Many thanks to <chessmoron> and <WinKing> and all our contestants. Thanks for playing!

Apr-29-19  WinKing: I was looking over the records I keep for the prediction games and noticed this is <bubuli55>'s first Gold medal ever at these contests. Welcome to the Hall of Fame <bubuli55>! :)
Apr-29-19  bubuli55: Haha! Muchas gracias < WinKing >. Lady Luck shine on me this time.

OhioChessFan: I am shocked to discover that was <bubuli's> initation into the Moves Prediction Hall of Fame. Feel free to give an acceptance speech. Take as long as you want, not to exceed 10 seconds....
Apr-29-19  bubuli55: I’d like to thank < WinKing > for sending me an invitation to play. Thank you < OCF > for being a great host. I always look forward to your Recaps. Thank you to < chessmoron > for the hard work and dedication of running the game. And that goes to the three of you. You always do a wonderful job. Thank you to all competitors for making the game so much fun, especially to < wordfunph >. GRANTing it was his birthday, I had to oblige to his side game. I appreciate being in the Hall of Fame although it’s not like I have found the formula to winning . So I will enjoy it until the next game time.

OhioChessFan: Of course, the answer to <Fusilli's> problem is......"Rules are meant to be broken." You must push d5 to win. 1...exd5 2. a4 and the outside passer wins because the d5 Pawn obstructs its own King into falling out of the square.
