Susan Freeman: I am just stopping in with a post to say a formal "hello" to everyone. As you know, my late son, Daniel, (AKA Sneaky), was the controlling owner of Chessgames. I hope everyone is continuing to enjoy this unique and entertaining site. As for myself, I am learning more each day thanks to wonderful supportive members.

And I <have> and Daniel suspended me, lol. You know what it's like when you're young, but I'm growing up a bit :)

Anyways I hope you're feeling okay now, Miss F. You just take care around here because there's people who'll go <low> - and yes I do mean with loved ones who are no longer around. I don't foresee you having any problems on this site but I've always got your back just in case. You take care of yourself Miss F. Xx

Sep-23-18  JimNorCal: Welcome to CG.com, glad to see you here.

Lots of chess excitement upcoming: the Olympiad then later in the year a World Championship match. Even if not a chess player you are sure to enjoy the stories and drama (just as in all sports and human endeavors) and hopefully catch a pleasant buzz.

Not really. It just gets banished to Qatar.

Sep-23-18  WinKing: Hi <Susan> my name is Greg. I am happy to see you have opened up your own forum. We have a pretty good group here...most of the time. Occasionally I handle the Bookie duties if <Annie K.> lets me. Hope you enjoy it here. :)

HeMateMe: Hello Ms. Freeman, I just wanted to say hi. I was sort of curious as to whether or not a guy had created a phony account, using a phony name. You know what I mean, those people are out there. Glad to see that this is a legitimate account.

I post a lot here, mostly ribbing back and forth with people. Your son created the best chess site in the world, that's something!

BTW, do you play? What age was Daniel F. when he started playing chess?

Susan Freeman: I have heard about you. Ha! I started teaching my son when he was around 10. I could win most games...most...until he went to university. My father was always the winner with both of us. He was amazing. Back in the day he played by mail. I have a really cute picture of Dan playing chess with me on the beach. He was about 13. He had white and I had black. I wish I could add something to be able to post it. Have to consult Sargon. You all would love it. :)
