I'm currently organizing a Conlustation/correspondence game (again!) between a team of CG.com members vs. MFO Internet Chess Club members' team. At the moment I'm putting the CG.com team together. Would You like to join in? I'm still working on the "rules", set-up etc. When done, it'll all be posted in my forum. For now, to make it easier for You to consider the invitation: --- Up to 10 players per a team(probably less).
--- 2 days/move per a team.
--- Site: my forum.
--- NO c. engines! Opening Explorer, DBases allowed.
The game should start sometime between Jan, 15 - 20.
Based on my experience with the 2 previous games with the similar format, it is reasonable to expect the contest to last for about 2 months. If You are interested in participating, please let me know, and register at my forum. Thank You. |

(When the game will start the pieces will become normal, and it's not a Fischer random game). The "CG" account is already created, and we will give you a password, and making a move is just a couple of mouse clicks. It really shouldn't be a problem. We will appreciate it if you could do it.

Should one more player appear in the next day or two, fine, if not, fine again. Glad to see <Swapmeet> has re-surfaced ;-) We will need strong players like him. As for the colours, <Akavall> has posted about it earlier today in my forum (page 83, bottom). My forum is where the Captains and teams communicate. MFO has agreed with <Marcos65> idea in regards to choosing the colours. <Akavall> had sent me an e-mail with one number in it. A number anywhere between 0 - 9. Now You need to post a number ( 0-9 ) in my forum. If the sum of two numbers is an EVEN number, then CG.com Team has the White, if
an ODD no. is the sum then MFO is the White.
Please post the number as soon as You can, then we can set the start Day and Time! Thank You so much. |
