WannaBe: The =) or :-) means a smile. you have = as the eyes, and ) as the mouth. Or you have the : as the eyes, - is the nose, and ) is the mouth.

Tilt your head to the left, and you can kinda see it. :-( of course is a sad/frawn face.

I got -79 chessbucks because I borrowed some money from Chess Bookie and still didn't win!

Sep-03-06  chessmoron: <Wannabe> Looks like this 13 year old <dr.roho> doesn't really AIM.
Sep-03-06  dr.roho: <chessmoron> Your right. I use MSN. MSN is much cooler.

Crap, Enron's stocks have gone down again, looks like I am going to lose a couple of chessbucks. Mayby I can borrow some from <wannabe>.

Sep-03-06  chessmoron: <dr.roho: MSN is much cooler.> You did not just say that. AIM Triton is released, check it out.
Sep-03-06  dr.roho: <chessmoron> Listen to this simple statement. I dont use dial up or their services....
Sep-04-06  brankat: <WannaBe> Congrats! Looks like it was an interesting tourney You had run. I thought You were going to play, too. Or, did the TD job leave You exausted?:-)

Btw, will You be participating in <CC>'s coming corresp. tournament. It should be starting pretty soon.

WannaBe: <brankat> I hoped more people would show up, we'll see what happens next month. It went well, since I had only 4 participants, we did a round robin.

Some people had to play black twice, and some had white twice. But everyone understood that.

I did not play, (Same thing when I do the local pool tournament.) But, I had the joy of observing the games, download the PGN and post them here between rounds. =)

10...Bxf6, Shredder preferred 10...exf6 but that would double up the pawns, why does Shredder like that?

15. dxe5?? Shredder says 15. cxd5 was better.

25...Qxb2?? 25...Qe1+ was much much better!

32. Rc8 would probably have forced a resignation.

35. Ng5?? 35. Qc6 was the better move.

35...Qf4+ was the better move. Completely did not see it. =(

Sep-04-06  EmperorAtahualpa: <WannaBe> thanks for the analysis!

<10...Bxf6, Shredder preferred 10...exf6 but that would double up the pawns, why does Shredder like that?>

I guess because it opens up the e-file for the rook. And perhaps you could have created a dangerous stampede with your kingside pawn mass this way.

Sep-05-06  brankat: <WannaBe> Good luck in <CC>'s tourney! Don't forget to slow it down a bit this time around :-)

WannaBe: <brankat> Thank you, I'll (try) to not make the same mistake(s) I did in the last tournament.
Sep-05-06  JoeWms: But you screw up readability for my kind of minority who have to use Largest, Larger, and Medium views to read posts. Please. Thanks, good friend.
Sep-06-06  mahmoudkubba: <WannaBe>: To tell u something good I wonder what is ur nick name means. U C in Arabic it means <their is a disease in him> and in English it means <he wants to be> and in thinking that I might need u oneday I kept wondering what shall the people say if u (Let God Forbid) went to heavens as the normal thing to every human me or others or u? Do they then try to say <this rabbit was a good rabbit?> according to ur pic. near ur name on this site? HaHaHa

For what u said in ur profile: I wonder if their r lots of similarities bet. me and many others and u, for the accidents u had during ur life career unless u r laughing of course HaHaHa.

WannaBe: <mahmoudkubba> Thanks for dropping by and making a post. You usually tend to hang out at the Kibitz' Cafe. =)

You asked about my name... when I first came to here, was to learn, then I wanted to ask a question. Since I wasn't any good, and can't pretend to be good. I chose the name: WannaBe. Because I wanna be good (some day, one day. never?!) chess player.

If I had known what it meant in your language, I'd probably have changed my mind! But it's too late now. Guess I'm stuck with the name.

And yes, I try to be as a good rabbit as I can. I do not know if you had a pleasure of watching Looney Tunes cartoons, most of the information in my bio makes references to the cartoons. =)

WannaBe: Well, today, a year ago, I walked into my first chess club (http://www.chesspalace.com) and became an USCF member.

Boy, my life's gone downhill ever since.

Sep-08-06  hitman84: Why do you put the blame on a chess club <WannaBe> ? Not enough redheads in the club ?
Sep-08-06
Premium Chessgames Member
WannaBe: <hitman84> Not the club's fault. It's more like getting 'addicted' to chess. =)

Last night, <DrDum> and I played/messed around for 4 hours, I have games going on at GameKnot.com and schemingmind.com (<Chess Classic>'s tournament) and dropping by FICS for some quickie games, etc...

Reading chess books, thinking of my moves... AAAAHHHHHH!! How can I have spare time for redheads?!?!?! =)

Sep-08-06  hitman84: ROFL <WannaBe>. You forgot kibitzing on CG in the list :)

Speaking of redheads you need someone like her..
http://zebe.net/images/leeloo.jpg

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377917/
one crazy movie..do you remember the blue alien chick with blue tails hanging out from her head singing in an opera. ROFL!

Sep-08-06  hitman84: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0qy...

ROFL!!

Sep-08-06  brankat: <WannaBe> Congrats on Your first aniversary. You can expect the second year to be slightly worse ;-)
Sep-09-06  BishopofBlunder: <WannaBe>, I've spent half of my life playing chess. The rest of it I've just wasted.
Sep-10-06  dr.roho: <WannaBe> No rush but you do know that our game is still going on right? I just losed to Phony Bononi by the way. See you later...
Sep-11-06
Premium Chessgames Member
WannaBe: <dr.roho> Oh, yes. Once we're out of theory and middle game starts, I tend to play really slow. I still have over 40.5 days left on my clock!! (What's your rush anyway? =)
Sep-11-06  dr.roho: <WannaBe>I just like my position so much that I wanted you to hurry up and make a move. I cant tell you how many times I analysed that position and yet you found the only move I didnt analyse(grr..). All your other moves would have lead to your defeat. But I guess Ill trade a pawn or two and a poorly defended king for a bishep any day...

Oh and this is my 101th kibitz...
