WannaBe: <Breunor> Good question, I ran this game through the computer game analysis and: 31...Kg6 32.Bxa7 Bc4 33.Nd5 Nc6 34.Bc5 Ne5 35.Ke3 Bf1 36.Bd4 ⩱ +0.87 (41 ply) Possibly white was low on time and don't want to risk the chance to reaching move 40

WannaBe: <Robin01> Aye, aye. Don't let the bed bugs bite!
Jan-19-06  RonB52734: I think <Robin01> is right about Bg5 losing a piece, but at the expense of our (passed) pawn. So it's ok but not our dream. Nevertheless, this team's lawyer is going to bed secure in the knowledge that the move ...Bh5 that he will play while sipping tomorrow's coffee is sound.
Jan-19-06  RonB52734: I leave you with this for visualisation purposes (I haven't posted the move yet)

TheAlchemist: Some forums have very funny names, like <WannaBe Chessforum>, <Sneaky Chessforum> etc.
Jan-19-06  sitzkrieg: In the Ng5 variation, after Qd7, Ne6 Bf7 we CAN trade queens. Nxf8 Bxd5 Nxd7 Be6 and the knight will fall. Desparado Nxe5 is most likely then, and it will cost us a pawn but the position will be tolerable. bishops of opposite color, and not too much material should be drawn. However, i still prefer Rxf8 cause we are playing for a win. Hu-ah!
Jan-19-06  sitzkrieg: And good nite to all americans:)
Jan-19-06  RonB52734: Good night <sitzkrieg>

Right now I'm not minding our K in the center, where White has only one pawn to throw near him, and no light-squared bishop. As a future strategy, ...h6, ...g5, ...Bg7 and a minority attack on the kingside are worth considering.

Jan-19-06  Robin01: I see nothing is happening today so far. I guess that is good news.

WannaBe: <RonB52734> have posted the move not too long ago. I do not expect white to post their move anytime soon. Perhaps a few hours from now.
Jan-19-06  RonB52734: Yes, all quiet.

WannaBe: Hey, <NakoSonorense> =) White hasn't responded yet.
Jan-19-06  NakoSonorense: yeah, i know. We don't have to make our move today, do we? I've lost track of time...
Jan-19-06  RonB52734: No, we did our Bh5 this morning. We're good.
Jan-19-06  NakoSonorense: Thanks, Ron. I'll log in later in the afternoon. I have tons of homework to do.

See you later!

Jan-19-06  sitzkrieg: Ahh. A painful question. I like it.
Jan-19-06  sitzkrieg: <wannabe> Couldnt u have given us that info Before we let u in our team??;)
Jan-19-06  sitzkrieg: ( i know i know; i was last added)
Jan-19-06  sitzkrieg: If you all are online and vote we might make the move (Qd7; i believe we all agreed) a tempo; I am sure that such a psychological blow will be enough for them to commit their final mistake.
