Nov-17-12  Jim Bartle: Current coach Lane Kiffin is one of the world's leading jerks, from what I know. He left the Raiders to go to Tennessee, basically announced he was going to beat everybody there, build a dynasty, and ignore SEC traditions. Then he bails on Tennessee after just two years to go to USC and basically announces he's going to build a national champion.

They were ranked #1 before the season and now have four--count 'em, four--losses.

When I followed college football closely, I hated USC coaches John McKay and then John Robinson, but everybody respected them as really good coaches. Same thing years later with Pete Carroll. Not with this clown.

Nov-17-12  Jim Bartle: Now Oregon is trailing by seven (probably won't last, but still), and Kansas State is losing by 14 to Baylor. So if somehow those scores hold up, with Alabama's loss last week, which teams will be left undefeated?

WannaBe: <JB> Coaches in the last few years have been suffering from giangantus pod-n-oral disease. College and pro, the Rex Ryan, Kiffin, Petrinos, and Neuheisel.

I was very disappointed when Karl Dorrel was let go, and we got Neuheisel.

One of the reason I am very anti-Notre Dame, is how they dismissed Tyron Williamham, and just embraced Charlie Weiss as the next coming of you know who.

Then immediately gave him a five year extension after game 3 in his first year. Glad they ran his behind out of South Bend, but I've been very anti-Notre Dame since.

Half time, Baylor ahead, and Tree-Ducks tied.

Nov-17-12  Jim Bartle: Weis was a disaster, a real surprise. Notre Dame stole Willingham from Stanford, where he'd been very successful (well, not like today, but a winning team). And then, after a good start, it all went bad at Notre Dame.

I guess a lot of Weis' supposed offensive genius was due to stealing the oppposition's signs while at New England.

Phony Benoni: Just watched an interesting game between West Virginia and Oklahoma, which the Sooners won 50-49. It's not often you see a team have a 300-yard rusher, a 300-yard passer, a 200-yard receiver--and lose.

The rusher was Tavon Austin, who was making moves I haven't seen since Barry Sanders. I am not exaggerating. If you didn't see the game, try to find some highlights.

Nov-17-12  Jim Bartle: Amazing.

And offensive powerhouse Oregon, averaging 52 points a game, just lost 17-14 to Stanford at home. Unbelievable.

Nov-18-12  hangingenprise: lame lane: are you starting to hear the word underachiever more? when the ad says ur job is safe does that mean you better beat the irish?
Nov-18-12  hangingenprise: crimson tide back in it, as i knew they would be. somehow the crystal football likes alabama.

WannaBe: The new look Flakers are still winless on the road, with all the hype plus D. Howard's signing, the team is still crap.

Looking at tonight's game, Kobe was 7 for 23 seven for twenty-three!!!

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxsc...

Look at their last loss, Kobe was 11 for 20, but you look at Howard's shots/touches, 2 for 4 two nights ago, and 2 for 7 tonight.

Tell me, how do you establish an inside-game with your center with 11 shot attempts in 2 games?

Numbers like these are unfathom-able, just bad, sad, that ball-hog has gotta go.

Annie K.: Sure. :) One way this could be easier than last time: I have much better audio editing equipment now, so there is no need to record each name in a separate file. You can record and send them along in longer files (as long as the file is not so big that the email rejects it).

And if this is all too much for her, maybe you could do some of them yourself too. Thanks for whatever you can do, anyways.
