| Jun-14-18 | | zanzibar: Speaking of "cool"...
Proposal for new submission format, especially well suited for individual game submissions. @submit <
[PGN]
>
This way, even if a game isn't accepted it is.
And <CG> can further delay the transparent logging feature of submissions. And submissions are themselves transparent, almost by definition. And <MissScarlett> can stop heris bitching, as a de facto practice gets formalized. There are a few technical points to work out if the idea does get adopted, but it's definitely a GoodIdea®. |

| Jun-15-18 | | morfishine: This miscreant or excuse for an adult <johnbarleycorn> needs to be permanently shut off from this site. I guess every now and then his mother lets him have his internet access back, its obvious at this point he knows nothing about chess and his sole purpose is to antagonize members and provoke responses What more do you need to know? Ban this obnoxious troll |
|
| Jun-15-18 | | morfishine: Really <CG> Since you cannot control such low-lifes as <harrylime> & <johnbarleycorn> then whats the point? You proclaim this is a "family-friendly" site, but why do you let these imps run free? This is why I keep letting my premium membership expire since I just don't think its worth the aggravation, but somebody keeps renewing it Oh well, I guess I just have to leave altogether ***** |

Good job, good luck, good bye. |

 | | chessgames.com: morfishine: not everybody is going to get along with everybody else. If you don’t like a member just place him or her in your ignore list. If somebody uses very abusive language blow the whistle. We occasionally ban people, but not on request. |
|
| Jun-17-18 | | zanzibar: BTW- I would also recommend a
<@correction> (or somesuch) type of post as well. Almost all corrections should involve a degree of public notice - both a priori as well as post mortem. Often times a biographer make a post advertising the correction anyways - so why is it necessary to duplicate the effort with a correction submission. One stop shopping is what I'm recommending. |

 | | MissScarlett: Is there any size limit to the profile page of premium members? I had the idea it was double that of non-premiums, but having recently expanded my premature death lists, it would appear not: User: MissScarlett |
|
Jun-17-18
 | | chessgames.com: Regular = 8K; premium = 24K.
Are you really out of room? That doesn't look like 24K to me. |
|
Jun-17-18
 | | chessgames.com: Yeah, that is 24K. OK I tell you what, I just made it 32K for premium members. |
|
| Jun-17-18 | | zanzibar: <chessgames> - is <MissScarlett>'s obsession with death and doom something you want to be encouraging?! |
|
Jun-17-18
 | | MissScarlett: <Are you really out of room?> Not that I knew of, but as there's undoubtedly more death and dissolution to come, it's nice to know that I have sufficient elbow room. I may even consider the inclusion of significant personages unfortunate enough not to have their own <cg.com> page. |
|
| Jun-17-18 | | WinKing: Better make it 40K...lol. |
|
| Jun-18-18 | | technical draw: Anybody know about this Malaysian GM Irene Kharisma Sukandar ? |
|
| Jun-18-18 | | technical win: In the meantime here's a bit about the <Indonesian WGM> Irine Kharisma Sukandar |

 | | WannaBe: <CG.com> Make a long story short, I had some trouble accessing sites, so I did some tracert, one of them was to you. And I reached Carlsen. =) |
|
| Jun-18-18 | | technical draw: <technical win: In the meantime here's a bit about the <Indonesian WGM> Irine Kharisma Sukandar> Thank you cousin <technical win>. I had the wrong country and the misspelled name. |

| Jun-19-18 | | takchess: Can we get a bump up on the size of a collection discriptions ? I want to add more to this one Game Collection: Halloween Gambit -Let's Sack a Knight on Move 4. Thanks |
|
| Jun-19-18 | | takchess: I would use that PGN feature.
Another nice to have feature would be the ability to play through and manipulate the output from the Stockfish engine here on site. Cheers,
Jim |

| Jun-19-18 | | takchess: re I would use that PGN feature.
It appears I was responding to a post dated Feb 19th. |

 | | Eggman: Greetings.
I stumbled upon this miniature: N Gaprindashvili vs Dlugy, 1988. I think the position after 19...Bd5 would make a terrific Game of the Day puzzle! |
|
Jun-20-18
 | | chessgames.com: <Eggman> Oh, took me a minute to see why Black resigned. That's excellent. Thanks. |
|
| Jun-20-18 | | zanzibar: <Eggman> yes, good position. A sac which sets up a great x-ray fork. |
|
| Jun-24-18 | | WinKing: What the...? So your on an outer space kick now <zanzibar>? What happened to all the critters(lizards, bugs, goats...)? Expanding your horizons! ;) |

 | | OhioChessFan: You should really consider deputizing some trusted members to deal quickly with pond scum like the current spammer. |
