WannaBe: <master of defence> Maybe try using Deluxe Chess Viewer II?

You can change your viewer choice underneath the board.

Chess Deluxe Viewer requires Java.

Jun-06-13  master of defence: <WannaBe>, i want to make boards in comments like this! Have you ever seen some chess.com's comments?
Jun-06-13  Eyal: <CG> You might want to open a page for the rapid & blitz FIDE world championship (http://wrbc2013.fide.com) which started today in Khanty-Mansiysk. Its overall lineup of players (http://wrbc2013.fide.com/participants) is rather lame for something called a "world championship", but still - there it is.
Jun-06-13  amadeus: <3. Participation>
3.1 All players rated at least 2500 in any of the three FIDE rating lists (Standard, Blitz or Rapid) as at the 1st of March 2013 or 1st April 2013 are eligible to participate in the World Blitz & Rapid Championships.
3.2 The Blitz & Rapid Championships are open to all the National Champions representing their National Chess Federation regardless of their title or rating.

<2. Format >
The events will be both Swiss pairings tournaments, and will be held over two days for Blitz and three days for Rapid. The Blitz will have fifteen rounds with two games each round, each player playing with white and black against his paired opponent, Swiss event. The Rapid will be also fifteen rounds, but only one game as paired, Swiss event.

Jun-07-13  notyetagm: <CG.COM>

Can we please have a forum for the <FRENCH TOP 12>?

Thanks

Aha! You would like to be able to embed a board into your comments so that it is playable (with arrows and such, or by clicking on a particular move). I don't believe that is possible on this site. I can't remember any discussion on it, but I may be wrong about that.

My guess is that this feature would take up server space that can be used better elsewhere.

You can include a link to Crafty or to other off-site pgn players, but that's not quite the same.

Annie K.: I think I recall cg mentioning that they'd like to enable that (posting pgn that would appear as playable boards) eventually.

chessgames.com: <MarkFinan: Admins, there's no point in me blowing whistles on one mans posts as there are just too many> In cases like that blow the whistle on one or two prime examples and we'll figure out the rest. Under no circumstance should you come here and name somebody as guilty of infractions.

chessgames.com: <embedded playable boards> We're working on a feature which strongly overlaps with that idea. I wish I could discuss it more, but for the time being it's all propriety top-secret stuff.

Jun-09-13  The Last Straw: <chessgames.com> Could we remove that biography on the <Argue> page? It's supposed to be appropriate for kids, as the rules say. Or at least remove the youtube link.
Jun-10-13  DrNyet: Is there a way to identify the most recent pages added? In this case I'm looking for tournament pages for upcoming tournaments, without knowing any specific names to search on.
Jun-10-13  YouRang: We should have a tournament page for <Tal Memorial 2013> soon. It's just a couple days away.
Jun-10-13  notyetagm: <CG.COM>

Can we please have a separate forum for the <2013 FIDE WORLD BLITZ CHAMPIONSHIP>, won today by Le Quang Liem?

Thanks

There's nothing on in the Argue bio apart from one sentence, and that cant have offended anyone, and the YT link's harmless too! Unless something was removed when you requested it?

  chessgames.com: ♔ NOTICE ♔

As a way to reach out to our longstanding customers, Chessgames is currently giving special 60-day gift memberships to all members who used to be premium but currently are not.

We hope that this measure will bring people together and strengthen the community. We hope to encourage some old timers to return, so we might see some old faces around here that we haven't seen in a while. And with the upcoming Tal Memorial, we hope to make the live broadcasts truly memorable.

FINE PRINT: Some accounts are excluded from this promotion, including: accounts on our do-not-email list; accounts which lapsed as recently as 2013; accounts which received free memberships from Chessbookie!, the Holiday Present Hunt, or other contests; and accounts which share an email address with any currently premium account. If you believe you should have received a free 60-day gift but did not, feel free to contact us at chess@chessgames.com and we'll be able to assist you.

<I see one every time I look in the mirror.>

I see a baby. You might want your vision checked.

Jun-11-13  quantum.conscious: admins, one or more of my posts were deleted recently.

which is not a problem for me unless
we are fast reaching a stage where we don't understand each other.

so, should i send you some mail or we doing ok?

i mean i think i am facing a lot of personal attacks from certain users but i don't like to bother you about them , however, sometime i take some jab at them and such. so , may be things are getting full of nuisance for you . and waste of time too.

however, given the way i am at this point of time(my personality/my consciousness level) , i can not just let go stalking , personal attacks against me, after ignoring them for some time, without responding with some jabs.

so, should i send you an email or we doing ok ?

thank you.
