Jun-19-13  playground player: Suddenly this site won't let me look at games anymore. I have no idea what the message in the box means. I do not speak computerese--nary a word of it. But I do want to be able to view games. What gives?

WannaBe: <playground player> What did the message say? Are you using Chess Viewer Deluxe?
Jun-19-13  Alien Math: <playground player> Which version you have? Mac, iphone or windows?

Also are able to test if java working
http://www.java.com/en/download/tes...

Jun-19-13  playground player: <Esteemed Colleagues> Thanks for the advice; but in the interim, I delegated the problem to <Mrs. PGP> and she fixed it, so now I can see the games again.

Computer stuff just frazzles me. It's like high school chemistry--I just can't learn it, just don't get it, nothing will stick to the brain, etc.

Jun-19-13  Tiggler: <playground> I am glad you have <Mrs. PGP> to help. I was going to suggest using <Mr. PGN>. This can be done by chosing the pgn4web option as your pgn viewer. Pretty clunky compared to the java viewer, though. Nicest thing about that is the ability to move the pieces and create a tree of variations.

OhioChessFan: It appears the Nakamura-Andreikin game has the wrong date and is listed in the wrong order on the tournament page.

chessgames.com: http://www.java.com/ has a new version at least for the Mac OS. The biggest wrinkle with installation is that when you are done, it will demand that you give permission to any Java applet you want to use, even ones that you have previously given permission for.

Our Viewer Help Page may provide some more help.

chessgames.com: <It appears the Nakamura-Andreikin game has the wrong date> It looks fine to me but perhaps a CG editor has already swooped in and fixed it.

OhioChessFan: Naka-Andreikin is listed as game 26 which would be in round 6. Anand-Naka is listed as game 30 which is also in round 6.

I´ll second that,too !

Jun-21-13  brankat: What seems to be the problem? It says: "Pick one". So, pick one ;-)

But seriously, shouldn't this be posted in the Bookie's forum?

yes, it is necessary to email you because either the people stop calling me the things they are saying otherwise i should be allowed to say those things too . i am very confused and unless this confusion is resolved i am unable to post on chessgames.com anymore obviously.

so, i would mail you and stay away from cg.com till our communication through mail is over.

thank you.

Jun-21-13  quantum.conscious: <cg.com May I also call your attention to guideline #2: <No spamming, advertising, or duplicating posts.> You posted that message in three places. We deleted all of them.>

of course , you may , daniel. it is your site after all and as some other admin here said something like - "daniel is a dictator - a fair and benevolent dictator"

i like that .

i am a teacher (private coaching centre) and i am like that too.

i yell at my students danzel washington in <remember the titans> style , <Coach Boone: This is no democracy. It is a dictatorship. I am the law.>

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0210945...

"you may ask me if the law is fair and i would explain , <HOWEVER , YOU CAN NOT ARGUE ABOUT IT. WHATEVER I SAY FAIR IS FAIR. MY ARBITRATION IS FINAL. IF YOU ARGUE ABOUT IT THEN GET LOST AND COME BACK WHEN YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMOCRACY AND DICTATORSHIP > "

well, some leave and some stay (along with my principles)

so, i won't even argue why you deleted from all the three places - would it not be fair to leave at least one.

no, sir. i would just make a note that law says if you post same kibitz at more than one place all would be deleted.

<my question - am i allowed to repost it ; only at one place this time?>

well, i digress .

i assure you that just as i am law in my coaching centre and most fair in universe , similarly in my perception you are law and most fair in universe when i use cg.com.

so , now i have mailed you and requested you to allow me as well to use the name calling certain users are using against me and <if> you say "no, they are allowed to call you names but you are not allowed to use those same words for them" - i would call it fair and would just leave (as some of my students leave my coaching centre). i hope if it comes to that , you won't mind my listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2C5...

like i mentioned before , i would stay away from cg.com till this confusion of mine is resolved.

thank you, daniel.
