jessicafischerqueen: <Susan> you have posted publicly on more than one occasion you would not let <Caisso> near any more editing boxes for chess events.

And yet here he is, dipping his incompetent beak all over the place again:

Biographer Bistro (kibitz #23726)

Biographer Bistro (kibitz #23727)

Biographer Bistro (kibitz #23728)

I understand that he was a friend of <Daniel's>, but that is not proof of competence. How long are you going to let this incompetent screw up the database? All he does is make more work for <Stonehenge> and <Tabanus>, who have overseen the entry of new games into our database for years... with great competence... for no money.

How long do you think <Tab> and <Stony> are going to put up with this? What happens when they give up in disgust and refuse to spend all of their volunteer time cleaning up an incompetent's mess? This had already been documented over and over again over the past few months. How long until you *actually* do something about this, instead of just *say* you have done something about this?

You are courting a disaster in the making, well on its way now. Only you can stop it.

Feb-26-22  login:

Mind your language self-proclaimed foreign minister of CG.

JF(drama)Queen you already have a very hard time promoting enough hungry minions for cleaning up the mess you leave behind 'editing' the database.

Anyone is a nuisance/threat who remains somewhat out of reach of your incompetent fingers. There is no excuse starting a most tiring crusade against Caissa over three (!) months ago.

'You are courting a disaster in the making, well on its way now. Only you can stop it.'

The same addleheaded doomsday scenario repeated until armageddon. There will never be a 'privileged job' similar to the one on CG on any other (chess) site ever again due to the most unfortunate circumstances. Same for AnnieK (the K stands for Houdini), Stonehenge, Tabanus or anyone who thinks he/she is an irreplaceable godsend. You freaking waking up horrified in soaked bed sheets by the menacing thought this sites runs a single day without you - the agenda is to prevent that from ever happening. That's the 'disaster' and motivation to crawl back into here regularly for hammering a rusty reminder deep into Susans's subconscious.

Behind this picture perfect looking girly teen cosplay by now is a full grown very driven woman in her thirties [account creation presupposes being a certain age] with prolific character traits far less naive than the average lonely CG editor will ever admit to himself. Maybe that's something Susan silently admires or she simply enjoys having you as her wicked pet Cerberus, who knows.

'I understand that he was a friend of <Daniel's>, but that is not proof of competence.'

Oh well, tireless networking behind the scenes [remember all the greasy emails] to gain Daniel's friendship is the main reason you are where you are today. Casually feeding Susan carefully fabricated propaganda at the right moment how it was in the good old days - in the center of every scene your shiny self, most certainly helps you prolonging that adorable 'family affair'.

Re-writing the past comes so very natural.

'.. What happens when they give up in disgust and refuse to spend all of their volunteer time ..'

Nothing. The worst that could happen is you volunteering to take over actually. Most creatures (permanent vacation comes in handy) who can brew a proper coffee are able to fill out premade forms like our beloved Scandinavian spindoctors on the brink of their next fake mental breakdown(s) when 'history' requires.

Stone has resurfaced with a goal in mind to get even more toys (nothing new) and Tab spend considerable time the last weeks expressing his most inner feelings how hard CG life is more than anything [in his case no malice is involved, he is just being honest to a point where it is barely tolerable for me anymore].

'.. He seems oblivious that it is flippant and unprofessional for a paid admin to adopt "Beavis and Butthead" [1990s series, indicating JFQ was already in her mid 20s on registration] as his avatar. Minor point, but he has indeed lived down to his avatar. Zero gravitas. Zero competence. Just Zero all around. ..'

Biographer Bistro (kibitz #23728)

Narcissistic vile drivel (not at all for the first time) - enjoying yourself fueling a dumpster fire over at the Bistro way too much for a reasonable adult.

You must be equally pumped following the 'development' of this sickening thread - considering your latest remarks towards Messiah [you couldn't help punching nok one more time for the pure fun of it, satisfiying wasn't it]?

Sergey Karjakin

The denial of moderation [locking the player's page] for Gutmensch fabelhaft and the Messiah lynching mob is nothing the CG brand can be overly proud of.

Only growing up can stop it.

He likes what is happening and shows what he thinks, and has kept posting enthusiastically on the subject, with more happy smileys. .'

'.. Hopefully he will end his life on a gallows along with his murderous hero Putin. .'

'.. Now, this sort of comments aren’t the typical <Messiah> style comments, where someone has a big need for attention but little to contribute with. These are (at least most of them) not at all troll comments, but totally honest and often well phrased, long discussions ..'

84th Tata Steel Masters (2022) (kibitz #225)

I guess you granted your slandering 'buddy' a most gracious exeption to your own exuberant morality while going nuts on Karjakin's page sitting behind your peaceful keyboard in Uppsala.

You are capable knowing what you do is well within the rulebook - unlike Messiah. Let me express mimiking that same freedom to write out what you do is highly hypocritical (to me), hejdå.

More clear now?!

Feb-26-22  fabelhaft: <login> Why are you claiming that I have posted that I want Karjakin to end up in the gallows and similar horrible things? What I did was referring what Karjakin had written himself.

<I guess you granted your slandering 'buddy' a most gracious exeption to your own exuberant morality while going nuts on Karjakin's page>

What does quoting me saying that <Messiah> is trolling because he needs attention but has little to say have to do with me going nuts or my exuberant morality?

How's the terrible situation in Yemen affecting you?

Locking Karjakin's page is a stupid idea. Should the pages of his 2,819 games enjoy/suffer a similar fate?

I agree with <MissScarlett>- censoring a player page because of his/her politics is a disastrous policy.

I don't care about Mr. Car Jacking's politics. I haven't played through many of his games, but he wrote a number of cool scenarios for the <Grand Theft Auto> video game for PS4.

Or, at least he did in my imagination.

Feb-26-22  TheBirdman33: Sorry to run a few weeks late following my latest post here - I am involved in a legal procedure that caught me by surprise --all is well now though-- but I had to stay away from any distractions for a while in order to get a grip and run things smoothly.

<Steve> I will submit and leave a heads up when I am ready to do so. Thanks to you also for your work and dedication. I'll be contacting you if needed.

Dionysius1: Just to say I'm enjoying the heck out of this site. It's friendly, provocative and with the great little ignore button if some kibitzers get a bit out of their tree for a while. Lots of features to explore particularly around ways of searching. And I like the family feel to it through Daniel (RIP) and Susan Freeman.

I'm beginning to see there's a lot of effort going on behind the scenes. I really appreciate that.

Feb-26-22  fabelhaft: One of the things I like with the site is that one can quote the opinions of chess players on political matters, unlike at chess.com or reddit. I recall that just quoting what a chess player wrote on the US election immediately was deleted from reddit with a ”not chess related” warning from moderators, and chess.com also has a ”no politics allowed” policy. It removes an important aspect of chess players if one only is allowed to mention their moves. Alekhine or Botvinnik with all politics removed would maybe look nicer, but would also edit out who they were to a certain extent.

<fablehaft> and that's just the tip of the iceberg at <chess.com>.

Some years ago "chicken breastgate" caused a quite a commotion over there.

A member was posting a recipe for "chicken breast" and the auto-mod deleted the comment because it had the word "breast" in it.

You should have seen the feathers fly!

Feb-26-22  fabelhaft: <Reddit chess group appears to be discussing politics>

Indeed, that doesn’t look anywhere near chess.com, they seem to have changed their posting rules a bit. They still have this thing about no spoiling in headlines, which I always found weird. No posting ”Anand wins Candidates after draw in the last round” since someone might not know about the outcome and looks forward to looking at the games tomorrow without knowing how they finished. That’s not how real chess fans are supposed to do it, right?!

<fabelhaft>

I don't know how "real chess fans" do it, but I can tell you how "chess historians" do it.

They may once have known the outcome of a given game, but since they only look at games over 100 years old, they are likely to have forgotten who won.

Talk about a win-win situation...
