What about buying a different server, instead of pretending you can fix the piece of crap server you currently can't fix? Is that a thing, buying a different server? I don't even know.

I do know that unless you can mount an operating server, your website will eventually just go under. The few active members you still have will grow smaller and smaller in number until chessgames.com is no more.

What are you going to do about this <Susan>.

Total silence from your techs isn't helping either. Totally unprofessional not to keep members apprised as to what's going on, or in this case not going on eh.

That's where I'm at.

I've noticed that this page and Rogoff are having historical posts removed (or archived). Seems to be working better for me now.

Jun-17-22  Z free or die: I wonder what was the real cause of the downgrade...

It can't just be a misconfigured module, else why isn't the fix already in.

Did <CG> get new software, hardware, both?

Was it recently hacked, or did it lose technical help?

Have the balance sheets reached the point where compromises have forced the performance to this point?

Fundamentally - why doesn't <Susan> sell, or just hand over, the site to people who can run it properly?

I'm sorry it that sounds harsh, but I believe it's a rather reasonable question, of long standing in fact.
