There are too many dead games.

<George Wallace>, can you do a hard refresh(ctrl + shift + r) and try again. Let me know if the last update helped

MissScarlett: On the live boards - at least, how I'm seeing it - you can't have the characters marking the ranks and files on the board itself!
Jul-13-22  George Wallace: <steve>, I did not do a hard refresh, but the live games link is working for me anyways.
Jul-13-22  George Wallace: <Steve>, the live board, as I'm seeing it, is very small, while everything else on the page is big, big, big.

Personally, I am not a fan of splitting the screen in two, with a small boar on the left and the kibitzer's corner on the right. It feels unbalanced to me. The kibitzer's corner is so big and takes up so much room above the fold.

I don't know about everyone else, but for me, the bigger the board, the better.

Jul-13-22  Messiah: It's already Wednesday, and I am still not banned. What's wrong with you?
Jul-13-22  Messiah: Complaint #23, 2022-07-13: There are no interviews on the site.

Jul-13-22  Cassandro: Hey, the guy who blew up the Rogoff building has the nerve to show himself!

The funny thing is that he blamed the explosion on a gas leak. Problem is: he had earlier bragged about how he was gonna destroy the building and blame it on a gas leak!! LOL

Stonehenge: Even if I did it on purpose, no one is ever going to prove that.

This site allows trolls to vomit all over the place. Apparently Susan likes having people like that in her own home. I guess we will have to live with that.

I will say no more.

Hey, c'mon, you are always so smooth of banning me, why don't you do it again? I understand that you will do nothing with <Big Pawn> and the other real violators of the precious Posting Guidelines, but how about a good ol' BANHAMMER early in the morning?

saffuna: <susan freeman> announced on this page that the guidelines are suspended for the Rogoff page, as long as posts do not violate the law. So we'll continue under that condition.

That's ridiculous.

Oh dear it seems it's true.

Jul-13-22  Messiah: <Stonehenge> are you chickened out, my friend? ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Jul-13-22  Messiah: <Stonehenge> there is no need to be upset, my friend, feel free to come back and post somethin' or at least abuse your privileges. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Jul-13-22  Messiah: <Stonehenge> are you angry, my friend? Back in the days when <missscarlett> b& me without reason, I did not receive any refund from the site, but I am certain you, my friend, will compensate me for the 5 days of unjustified suspension. You see, my friend, I was dumb enough to pay for the membership.
Jul-13-22  stone free or die: Hi <real stone>, hope you're fully recovered from your recent bout with covid.

Slightly unbelievable some of these posts.

Can I go out of my way to say this?

<Messiah> - you're a twit!

* * * * *

<stone> if you ever at interested in working on an open-source biography/db of chess games for <SCID> - please let me know.

Jul-13-22  Messiah: It looks like our friend has a sockpuppet.
Jul-13-22  stone free or die: No, it's an alias, as explained many times before.

See <bippy> for examples of what a sockpuppet is, and how they are abused.

<Stone free> is just one voice, sans echo-plexing, etc.

But I must say, why are you so bent on harassing <Stonghenge>. Getting banned is a bit painful, I agree, but you go out of your way to carry a grudge, and gloat.

.

Jul-13-22  stone free or die: PS - <Stonehenge> (and others), if you don't want people to know when you last appear on <CG>, you have the option to turn off tracking.

Go to your profile preferences and turn off this checkbox:

<Don't show me on the homepage 'recent visitors'>

Then you can safely lurk without <Missy> calling you out.
